A book for the birthday boy!

"We've got a package, Mommy!" yelled Savannah over the loud roar of the vacuum cleaner Saturday as we were gearing up for the birthday party! As soon as I saw the size of the box, I knew what it was! Noah's board book.  =)  With only a couple of hours before everyone was to arrive, I resisted the urge to open it and placed it safely in our bedroom. These moments must be enjoyed slowly.  No time to rip open the box, flip through the pages and try to wrap it up for Noah. It would have to wait until tomorrow, Sunday, his birthday. 


The time came and it was better than I had anticipated. It always is!  And....I think Noah felt like a special little boy when he fell asleep Sunday night! What do you think?

My latest project...

An 8x8 scrap page (only 3 points, but since I'm on Club HM, it's really about $2).  I am planning to stick it on some chipboard and place it on an easel to sit on a little table on my front porch.  We'll see how it looks.  I'll be sure to post a picture!  Really had fun making this one!!

The "Harley" Book

I've been so excited to share this book that Allison made for her husband, Derek.  She gave it to him on Father's day...and needless to say, he loved it! She said that her mother-in-law cried.  Please take a moment to browse through this precious book.  Allison worked very hard (at home and at the digicrops) to get this finished for him! Great job, girl!

HM for special Dad's!

Finally....
I've been so excited to post some of my client's Father's Day gifts that they created in studio, but of course, had to wait until after the gifts had been given!So, here we go...


First up...a 7x5 storybook by Carol for her husband Shane.(You've probably seen lots of projects from Carol.  She's one of my most consistent-publishing friend and she does beautiful work!) Wish we lived closer so she could attend the monthly digi-crops.  But Heritage Makers keeps us in touch and I'm so thankful for that. =)
